Islamic banking: modeling the dynamics of islamic banking for the present and for future periods

Abstract

Relevance In the general topic of the study of the strategy of introducing Islamic banking into the marketing of financial organizations, a trend modeling is carried out that reflects the dynamics of the development of Islamic banking for future periods. A step-by-step modeling process is described. The theory of dynamic systems, Dow (fundamentals of technical analysis), fractals, sets and the economic theory of financial market regulation are used to assess the persistence of time series. The scientific novelty is a systematic approach to modeling a stable trend. The main goal is to predict the dynamics of Islamic banking. The revealed positive trend of Islamic banking is currently confirmed by a pilot project for the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, which was approved by V.V. Putin.

Materials and methods Trend building is carried out in stages. From all types of trends, the trend with the highest value of the coefficient of determination is selected, a forecast is made for the missing period, then the stability of the trend is checked by the Hurst coefficients and the angle of inclination of the curve, where linear regression with the coefficient of determination and theoretical calculation, together, make it possible to determine the persistence of the series.

Results The conducted modeling indicates that Islamic banking is currently present and has a positive tendency to increase. The revealed trend is not stable, and it is not possible to predict the dynamics for the future period, since the data are critically insufficient (the time series is too short). In modeling a stable trend, it is required to cover a time period of more than 20 years for the “Situation with Islamic Finance” from foreign authors Mustafa Adil, Hani Salem Sonbol.

Discussion The Central Bank of Russia has launched a pilot project on Islamic banking in Chechnya, Dagestan, Bashkortostan and Tatarstan. The pilot project has been extended by Vladimir Putin’s decree to the present. The uniqueness of the project lies in the fact that Islamic banking is based on the religious rules of Sharia, where the main prohibition concerns interest income – they are prohibited for any transactions. Investments in alcohol production, pig farming, gambling, etc. are prohibited. On 08.04.2023, the President of Russia signed a law on an experiment in Islamic banking for the listed regions of Russia. The law was adopted by the State Duma.

Conclusion The advantage of the research is the development of the theoretical foundations of marketing, forecasting and modeling methods. In this study, it is not possible to assert that the trend is stable, but it confirms the fact that the identified trend shows an increase at the present time.

Keywords: marketing; Islamic banking; modeling; forecasting; mathematical methods; steady trend; pilot project of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

State and manufacturing industry in focus of robotization

Abstract

Subject/topic. The article considers the problems and measures of state support for industrial robotization of the manufacturing industry, as an industry with the largest contribution to the GDP of the Russian Federation, ensuring the production of a wide range of goods, works and services necessary for society. Industrial robotization will improve the quality of manufactured products, increase production volumes, ensure work in unfavorable and dangerous conditions for humans, increase the competitiveness of the domestic manufacturing industry, which together will lead to the technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation.

Objectives. Based on the study of the state of robotization of the manufacturing industry in the federal districts of the Russian Federation, identify the features and problems of industrial robotization and propose measures of state support for entities of the Russian robotics market.

Methodology. The study is based on the use of horizontal and vertical analysis methods, the method of relative indicators, methods of tabular and graphical display of data, the comparison method in the analysis and assessment of the state of robotization of the manufacturing industry of the Russian Federation in the context of federal districts. Methods of analysis, synthesis and abstraction were used to identify the features of robotization of the manufacturing industry of the Russian Federation and to develop measures to support the subjects of the Russian robotics market.

Results / conclusions. Based on the assessment of the state of robotization of the manufacturing industry carried out in the work, a characteristic of the state of robotization of the manufacturing industry by federal districts of the Russian Federation is presented. This study made it possible to identify the features of robotization of enterprises in the manufacturing industry and draw conclusions about the presence of a direct relationship between the density of robotization and the volumes of production of the manufacturing industry by region, as well as the productivity of personnel of enterprises in the manufacturing industry. Taking into account the identified features and in order to increase the level of industrial robotization in the Russian Federation, measures of state support for subjects of the Russian robotics market are proposed.

Keywords: robotization, industrial robots, manufacturing industry, federal districts, robotization density, subjects of the robotics market, state policy on automation of manufacturing industries.

Qualitative content analysis of the media internet space of the audiences of non-governmental pension funds in Russia

Abstract

Subject/topic Currently, a necessary condition for the successful functioning of non-state pension funds (NPFs) is organizational communication activity based on the use of modern Internet technologies, which increasingly occupy a dominant position in the organization of the media space of funds. The development of NPF communication activity in the Internet environment allows us to solve a number of tasks such as providing remote customer service, providing automated service infrastructure with uniform standards for all regions of NPF presence, increasing customer loyalty, arousing interest in the activities of foundations, attracting the attention of a young audience, and so on. All this arouses interest in identifying popular media platforms, NPF communication channels with clients, and communication theses. At the same time, the issues of organizing the media space of non-governmental foundations are an insufficiently studied area.

Goals/tasks The purpose of this work was to analyze the online media space of the audiences of non-governmental pension funds in order to develop recommendations on the structure of targeted communications with potential clients. The analysis of websites, the identification of key phrases that lead visitors to the websites of pension funds, the identification of the types of triggers used and the allocation of the main communication platforms of organizations made it possible to achieve this goal.

Methodology The main method of data collection was qualitative content analysis. As tools for content analysis of the media space, you have selected: the service of statistics and content analysis of social network communities “Ropsters”; advertising analysis and monitoring service “Rubler”; the Target Hunter social media audience search service.

To establish the strength of the relationship between the amount of pension reserves and the number of clients, a paired correlation coefficient was calculated.

Conclusions. Result/practical significance: Qualitative content analysis made it possible to identify key phrases that attract visitors to pension fund websites, the types of triggers used, identify the main communication platforms of organizations and characterize the features of the communication policy of individual pension funds in Russia. The practical significance of the work consists in developing recommendations on the structure of targeted communications between non-governmental pension funds and potential clients.

Regression analysis to assess the position of small and medium-sized enterprises in the USA, China and Russia

Abstract

Subject/topic This article analyzes the current situation of small and medium-sized enterprises in the USA, China and Russia by conducting a comparative analysis of the situation of these companies between the three countries, regression analysis will be used in the analysis, this article also examines the problems and challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises in the USA, China and Russia.

Goals/objectives A comparative analysis of the current situation of small and medium-sized enterprises in the USA, Russia and China is carried out. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the financial support provided in each of these countries and the number of companies.

Results/Findings Despite the fact that small and medium-sized enterprises in Russia are showing some growth, they remain vulnerable to external pressure. In the United States, small and medium-sized enterprises are crucial to create jobs and increase output, but face inflationary pressures. Small and medium-sized enterprises in China make a significant contribution to the economy, receiving government support, but still facing competition problems.

Conclusions Forecast analysis is an important part of the country’s development and increase in its revenue. Forecasting and planning in the sphere of customs affairs is a rather labor-intensive process, which can be influenced by factors both in the formation of the forecast and in the execution of the plan based on it.
