Real economy: mathematical model or metrics of life?

Abstract

Subject / topic: Modern economics is based on economic models, many of which have a number of limitations. For example, in reality, the supply and demand curves often do not intersect, the gross domestic product does not take into account the social, environmental and cultural damage, when the maximum profit becomes the key success factor, without assessing the long-term consequences of decisions made with a local forecasting horizon. The article proposes the author’s approach, a critical look at the assessment of scientific and technological progress, taking into account the minimization of the mismatch between the goals of technocratic (digital) and humanitarian social development

Goals / objectives: on the basis of prerequisites, initial and boundary conditions for long-term scenario forecasting, to assess the ways and possibilities of achieving scientific and technological progress without harming the ecological, social and cultural environment of civilization; pay attention to the inadmissibility of a decrease in the literacy of the population, an increase in the asymmetry between the annual release of budgetary and extra-budgetary specialists trained by universities and the real need of the economy, a decrease in the value of domestic educational, human and intellectual capital, and “emigration of minds” to other countries

Methodology: economic, environmental and socio-cultural views of encyclopedic scholars, statistical analysis, phenomenology, mathematical models of economics, scenario forecasting in conditions of uncertainty and instability

Results / conclusions: the substantiation of alternative ways of economic development, scientific and technological progress without harming the humanitarian sphere of human development is presented.

Keywords: scientific and technological progress, humanization of the digital economy.

Culture. A new look

Annotation

Subject/topic: comparative review of existing definitions of culture; culture in an interdisciplinary object of study in the context of influence on scientific knowledge; author’s definition: culture – a way of life; scientific debates: culture – an instrument… or culture – an apologist… ; the influence of culture on economic sciences.

Goals and objectives: to consider the various points of view of scientists on the definition of culture and express the author’s opinion on this issue; the importance (role) of culture in social development; interdisciplinary tasks on the example of the philosophy of economics.

Methodology: methods of comparison and analogy, induction and deduction.

Results / conclusions: The analysis of the discussions allowed the authors to express it by defining culture as a behavioral and speculative structure that is considered integral to the created identity of the community. At the same time, this definition does not contradict the consideration of culture by Russian authors with an interdisciplinary bias (for example, culture in economic science, or cultural studies, etc.). In the search for meaning, it is always necessary to consider culture as an artificial formation, part of the environment and created by humanity; as influencing social behavior with the help of ideas and worldviews; as a distinctive feature of a group or as “collective programming of the mind that distinguishes members of one group (category of people) from another”; as an inherited indisputable given of their identity, as a set of ideas inherent in them; culture is characterized only by its inherent features: created by man, connected with ideas and worldview, influencing behavior, associated with differences between collective identities, considered a given for the individual; the author’s interpretation, generalizing the discussion of scientists and understandable for public consciousness, is as follows: culture –a way of life.

Keywords: Culture, scientific knowledge, apologetics, tool of influence, lifestyle, society

Management system for the development of russian and chinese women's football in modern conditions

Annotation

Subject/topic: comparative review of the sports policy of Russia and China in relation to women’s football in the historical development of this sport; current trends and problems of the management system of this sport in the two countries; the need to reform the management component of women’s football at all levels of state support is justified.

Goals/ objectives: the main factors limiting the development opportunities of Russian and Chinese women’s football, which require a more specific review of this problem at the state level.

Methodology: methods of comparison and analogy, similarity theory, phenomenology, induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis.

Results / conclusions: the paper presents promising ways to develop an effective management system for professional women’s football, taking into account the integration of state and sponsorship support; characteristics of women’s football largely coincide with the characteristics of men’s football both in Russia and in China, and the problems are generally the same (in terms of gender differentiation), but there are also differences conditioned by the state support of women’s football development.

Keywords: football, women’s football, Russian women’s football, Chinese women’s football, management of women’s football development.
